Our First Blog Post

Hey everyone, this is the first blog post of hopefully many to come. This blog intends to update all of you lovely people about the ins and outs of The Ink Collective.

Ceili and I opened the doors of The Ink Collective on the 17th of May 2021, because we wanted to bring a new type of studio space to Cork City. When we were planning what The Ink Collective would become, we really wanted to put a spin on the traditional type of tattoo studio and create something a little bit different. This is why we wanted to offer a space that not only does tattoos and piercings but also eyelash extensions. We really wanted to provide a safe and inclusive space that will let everyone feel welcome, whether that’s for your first tattoo, your sixth piercing or your tenth set of lash extensions.

As we are a collective, we hold space so we can welcome regular guest artists to the studio from all over the country and sometimes even the world. We have welcomed people from both America and Italy, and our doors are always open to anyone who would be interested in guesting with us so our clients always have a plenty of options of what sort of tattoo style they want. Our Instagram and website will regularly be updated with information on these said guest spots.

At the moment, we’re about to kickstart a very exciting campaign with a charity we deem very important. I won’t give too much away quite yet, but keep your eyes peeled for any updates with this exciting news. If you made it this far, thanks so much for reading our very first blog post!
